Ok, its always us, kids, bringing my folks somewhere new for meals, and yesterday was different for once. Mum wanted to bring us to Maude Rd for authentic Xing Hua (兴化) dishes. She claimed that she had long wanted to bring us there, but never had the chance.. oh well, whatever that she says lah..
it was really heng, that we reached early, like 6.45pm, cos after we got our seats, we saw a long queue, out onto the road. Pretty scary but the thought of the long queue, probably meant that tis little eatery serves good food?
Mum insisted that we must try their fried mackerels, and its true, all the tables had a plate of that fried fish each. Then we saw the old aunty waitress serving fried chicken and fried prawns, and la-las! And then, there was "lor mee" in white colour. somehow, the lor mee resembled pastas ins cream sauce. hehehe...

The total damage for this dinner was $63. Not that bad lah, since the food were relatively nice. Brings back the 家乡小吃 kinda feeling. By the time we were done with dinner, it was abt 8pm liao, and the queue was still long.
My recommendation is to go eat during weekdays, instead of weekends, cos of the queue and lack of parking. Also, dun be too greedy to call everything, unless we are talkin abt a table of 10 pax lah... We all left the restaurant with bloated tummies... Highly Recommended!
