TGI Monday!

Yes!!! Its lovely Monday yet again! Weekend was busy as usual, but i guess hb n me have learnt to relax. So when one's all relaxed, and not tensed, one becomes instantly happier and full of craps in this instant. Oh well, someone conferred a new "title" for me, on Sunday. We were on the topic of whether a woman's value will depreciate as she becomes older or married, and i insisted mine appreciated, and guess what? I was told it doesnt really matter for me, as i am considerered "Scrapped Metal". *GASPS*!!!!

Today, we sent son to the office and dwelled there for sometime, before leaving for our date. Yup! Alternative Mondays for for dating and family life. Tis wk, its 2 person's world, and we went to Suntec to catch "Red Cliff". Its a show i would not watch, if not for hb's interest. Ask me abt the 3 Kingdoms, and be prepared to see my blank face. Ok, my limited knowledge of the 3 Kingdoms was based on what i watched on SCV Ch 55, and heresays from hb. Other than dat, its "Huh????"

Well, i thot the Red Cliff was a little draggy, especially the war part. But i am also amazed at the huge numbers of part-time actors recruited to act as commoners. I was whispering to Hb that its so amazing that most chinese shows like to "use" so many "care-le-feis" and he whispered back "how you know they dun re-use the same pple for different scenes? just a change of clothings and scenes nia mah" . . . i was like "gua gua gua....."

Well, i thot Tony Leung was indeed so suited for the Zhou Yu's character! Or, maybe its just me? Tony Leung's never fail in whatever roles he got anyway. He's just DAMN GOOD! Ok ok, i m obsessed with him. I especially love seeing him use his expressive eyes to act. I mean, not everyone can bring out a "sly" or "twinkle in the eyes" kinda scenes lor! i just cant seem to associate any actors who can pull off this Zhou Yu's character. Oh!! and Takeshi Kaneshiro, is another surprise!!! Again, i am smitten by the eyes too!! Gosh! i should just start walking on the road, blind-folded, lest some guys come walking my way with the same equally captivating eye expressions!!! hahahaha... Back to Takeshi, i thot having him in the show was more like a "stunt" to bring up the box office, considering he's an "international" star. But, then again, who else is good to be Zhu Ge Liang leh? hehehe . . .

Well, after the show, we went Kuishinbo for dinner. Was supposed to meet family at 7.30pm then head into the restaurant, but the waitress encouraged us to go sit first cos she aint sure by 7.30pm we would hv seats. Hence, by 6pm, we were seated so comfortably, while waiting for family to arrive. And during the course of waiting, we devoured so many Snow Crabs and Chilled Prawns, that we doubt we would be able to join the rest for more food. But boy! we were so wrong! When all's arrived, we had our second round! It was more snow crabs and prawns and of cos, the tempuras too!! This is the first time my 2 old folks had japanese food, and i was laughing that its a training, so that we may next plan a possible Japan trip!! Kekeke, lame right?

It felt good, to be seeing Daryl Darling enjoyed his snow crabs, as much as his gluttony mummy was! And, he was just too enticed by the spread of delicacies on the dessert island. It was chocolate donuts, chocolate fondue with marshmallows, ice cream etc etc....

My bro n Leah, was equally enjoying themselves while hb n me were damn laid back, nursing bloated tummies. Left at abot 9.30pm... with a hole in the pocket $269+++.... Still, money well spent, considering that it was quality dinner. Guess, have to do this more often too!! :)
