Healing Touch

Left office abt 2plus, to client's office to deliver invoice. Settle my banking stuff and was walking aimlessly. Contemplated so hard if i should go for my long-awaited massage. Doesnt help that hb encouraged me, while on the phone, that yes, why dun i go for my massage, since i've been grumbling so long abt not visiting any massage joints. So, i sashayed from Centrepoint to Rendevous Hotel (yup, in my 2.5" heels), thinking about where will be good. Too bad, Rustic Nirvana's Cuppage outlet was closed for renovations.

Called up Citispa Beach Rd and was informed that it would be $78 for trial massage - 45mins. When boarded the cab, i somehow just mouthed "Uncle, River Valley, Tank Rd", instead of Beach Rd. Hahaha, guess at the back of my mind, i was comparing btw spending almost same amt for either a 45mins session or a 1hr session. Din take long for a genius like me to figure where i wanna go....

Wanted to walk into Peace of Mind (i always frequent there), but somehow, decided to check out Healing Touch, which is just next to POM. Looking pretty quiet as i dun see any customers around. The difference btw POM and HT is that the former's therapists are mainly Thai Chinese, hence they like to infuse a mix of Balinese + Thai. For HT, the therapist are mainly Chinese-Chinese, and they adopt the traditional Tui Na with a hint of Relaxing Massage. And, i was asked if i wanted to do a 45mins, 1hr, 1.5hr or 2hrs session. Being in the mood to pamper myself, i took up the 1.5hr slot, and at $65!!!!!! Cheap leh!!! Opted for Relaxing Oil instead of the Warm Oil bcos i dun want to walk out smelling like Lemon Grass! kekeke

My therapist was nice, asked if i felt cold. She then brought in as many as 3 towels just to wrap me up!!! kakaka... She started with my neck and shoulder (forever a huge problem for me) and started rubbing me in all the RIGHT ways! Amazing cos i felt my knotty issues seemed to vanish slowly. I must have fell asleep while she was doing the shoulders becos i felt myself awakened when she asked if i felt any pain as she massaged my back. I seemed to lost my memory for that spilt second! Couldnt recall if she did did my shoulders. ha ha ha...Asked again if i felt cold and i said i was. She disappeared to get me another towel! By then, i had almost 4 huge towels covering my back, and i was giggling to myself cos damn! i felt the weight of the towels!!

I was done by 6pm and walked out, damm refreshed, but slight greasy hair!! Ah, the cons of doing massage! Chanced upon Sel, who was waiting for her bus. She gave such a tight bear hug that i was laughing all the way!! Couldnt hang out long cos she rushin for her event. Me, did another round of walkin, to Clarke Quay to board NEL train, to meet my 2 Darlings. Thats quite a lot of walking today!!!

Now that i am lazing comfortably, blogging away, i am thinkin that i should be researching for my holidays soon...hahaha, SHAME on me!!! its enjoyment after enjoyment!!! But, like BenQ's tagline says "Enjoyment Matters"!!!! :)
