TGI Monday Again!

Whoohoooo, I have been a good gal today. Nope, to be precise, I was a good housewife, good mum, good wife, good daughter and good sister, all on this beautiful Monday! Lets see what I have done:

Good Housewife (?)
Ok, I sprang out of bead at 9am sharp today, feeling so energetic. Had a beautiful dream of me playing with a sweet looking baby. Oppss... is that an omen or what? First thing i did, was to pick out my 10yr old CD "Best 80s Retro". Hohohoh, dun laugh at me. I just needed some loud music on this lovely fair weathered Monday morning. With "Square Rooms" and the likes of other retro numbers, I started my housework. Ok, I oughta be so ashamed for labelling myself the "Good Housewife", because I cant remember when was the last I picked up the vaccum cleaner to clean the house. It must have been at least 1 month ago!!! *Double Gasps*. Started with having new bedsheets for both my KingSize beddie and Daryl's Single Beddie. Loved Daryl's new bedsheet, cos its his favourite cartoon hero character - Ben 10. After 30mins, it was thorough vaccuming with Rainbow! Rainbow is the vaccum cleaner brand, a $3k darn dirt sucking machine... How our hearts bled when we first purchase!!! After mopping, we got ready to pick son from school.

Good Wife
After we "chucked" son in the office, its dating time for hb and me. Last Monday was family day with Daryl, and today's reserved for dating. We had wanted to catch "The Dark Knight" at Suntec, but not sure why, when we walked past Kbox to EW cinema, the urge to watch the show vanished without a trace. Hb asked if I felt like watching and since I had been longing to go singing, i confessed honestly that i dun think I would enjoy the show. And soon, we found ourselves in the little aircon room singing our hearts out. Hb doesnt enjoy singing one bit at all, but i know he wanted me to go sing, to get rid of the longingness to have my solo concerts. "Love u, hb, for pampering me". Soon, we were singing lotsa old songs. Listening to hb sing is enjoyable for me. He cant sing well, but i just am always mesmerised when i see him trying earnestly to make out the chinese texts. In the capacity of a good wife, i entertained him with lotsa 70s songs!!! wahahaha...And of cos, acted as his KJ, sussing out songs for him. It was a good date.

Good Daughter
Mum wasnt feeling well and we wanted to pick son after our date, so that she can rest well. But she suggested to hit AMK for Fish-Head Steamboat. So we went pick them up for dinner. It was a good meal since all of us were chatting and eating merrily. Seeing mum feeling so proud of her new LV wallet (a gift from dad, bro n me), we felt good too!

Good Sister
More like a kpo sister to be exact. Was asking bro and gf when they may want to hold their wedding next year. Then suggested to him to consider 28 Dec, cos my anniversary falls on 29 Dec and my parents, on 30 Dec. If he weds on 28 Dec, that will be a 3 consecutive wedding anniversaries years later. Wahahaha, wun that be nice and romantic???

Good Mum
Yup, good mum, cos I sewed one button for Daryl, onto his uniform. WaHahaha, like dat also considered good mum? Its more like the bonding we had in the car, while on the way home after dinner. I love the chatting session with my little fella. We talked about his school, and he would tell me about his classmates and what he did in school. He told me that his little classmate copied his spelling last week... It was pretty funny the way he described. But naturally, jokes aside, I still must instilled the right values in my little boy, i.e. to be upright, no copying, lying etc.

Thanks God this has been a Beautiful Monday!!! More to come!!
