Finally!! Have endured the 12 weeks of secrecy, and almost time to let the "cat" out of the bag. Actually, nt such a secret afterall lah. As per the previous one, my closest gangs are the same ones who knew almost instantly... hiak hiak..
to the rest if i havent "announced" to, pls accept my deepest apology, for its a taboo to announce before the 3months mark. Hence, yes, am at my 12th weeks of pregnancy now.
Ok, full story goes:
2nd August
Did home test, realised positive. Got to check and double check cos i was so blardy used to seeing ONE line. This time, when saw TWO lines, i was kinda dazed. Then got hb to reaffirm that i aint having vision problem. Since was at mum's place, naturally means whole family knew abt the joy. Went for Charity Carwash, feeling secretly happy. :)
4th August
Went to TMC to visit my gynae. Yup, the same one who delivered my rascal darling. She did the tummy scan, and said, bb too small to be seen. I was like," oh no, not again!". It happened during Daryl's time, that i almost needed to "abort" him cos gynae suspected there was no heartbeat. That period was bad. But lucky we decided to wait then, to assess the development. Thanks God, that the perserverence paid off, and my daryl darling came to earth. Anyway, gynae suggested a vagina scan to be more thorough. And, we saw it!!!! small little dot, but heartbeat is healthy. Can you understand the relief? Although i din tell hb abt my fear, but he understood. Gynae said the kiddo is 6wks old, still very early! In fact, Iggy was the 1st to knw abt it (besides close fren lah), cos he so smart!! Put bits and pieces of my blog entry and guessed abt the pregnancy!! lol
1st September
Went for the 2nd check up. This time, we ensured Daryl was wide awake (he slept during 1st chk up, and missed saying "HI" to the new sibling). When gynae did the scan, it was again kinda small. Hence did V-scan again. Daryl was fascinated by the monitor! That fella actually can decipher which are the limbs and head!! I asked him if he were going to say hello, and he gave a chirpy "Hello" to the monitor! Wahaha, what a laugh!! Baby was super active, waving and all, in the tummy. And Gynae exclaimed that it is one active kid!! heheh. That 2nd scan, gynae said EDD will be "postponed" to 01 April 2009, instead of original 29 March 2009. Wah, we were laughing lor, cos #1, it may be an April's Fool Baby, and #2, how issit possible that it will be delayed? Whichever it is, she advised me to go for c-sect, since Daryl was a breech case and c-sect baby too. There's a 1% risk that my old wound will burst, if go by natural. Hb said to go for c-sect cos he dun wanna risk me going to headlines abt a bursting wound. lol.. and as usual, i blogged abt tis chk up, describing abt my Active Swimmer.
Well, my tummy's ballooning everyday, and I dun wanna repeat the same mistake of not hvg enough pics of my pregnancy. So, today, "forced" hb and son to take my pic of my tummy... Guess there will be more to come!.. Anyhows, here;s the pics!!
