Visiting My Ancestors

Its the time of the year where we pay our ancestors a visit in the west. Its Qing Ming this month, and as per every year, we all "assembled" at Bt Panjang, at Cousin Calvin's hse. Yup, this is our yearly routine, where my parents and my cousins and auntie would meet and we will drive to Lim Chu Kang in our lime green Leadz Lorry..kekeke.

Upon reaching Lim Chu Kang, we faced traffic congestion and Cousin Fred said that we might even encounter "road blocks", all thanks to the "Horse" who escaped from Whitley Detention Centre... We were even laughing, saying that this is the best period and place to hide a "Horse" cos there will be supply supply of food and fruits...hahaha

We visited many tombs. We went to say "HI" to our late grandparents, my Mother in Law, and my great grandmother... Total tombs visited was 6 nos., and we also said "HI" to our ancestors' neighbours. It was really "hell lot of money" we burnt for our ancestors, in the bid to respect and hoped the Ancestors will reciprocate the same. keke... Hubby even bought a "LV" bag for MIL... haha..

After our 4 hrs suntanning, we finaly left the plavce at 12.30pm, and headed to the nearest place to eat. I like the feel of the big external family, sitting down together to eat. This time, we had a spread of curry fish head, indian rojak, chicken wings alongside our own main dish.. There will be talks from the recent current affairs, to holidays, to whose kids got their new hse or who will be getting married soon etc... So boring topics yet so interesting gathering...

When we got separated, hb n me sped home to wash up before departing to Little India for StarHub's event. And we headed to TPY to pick son for a quick dinner at Toa Payoh's Fork n Spoon. Just love to see Daryl talking abt his one night stay at nanny's hse... And he then followed us to Little India to work... Hey, that boy'got spunk! Dun even sense any resistance in him, when almost surrounded by many Indians.Bangladesh workers... So proud of him..kekeke

Actually i wanna pen more abt the show, but hving just came bk after a night out with Sel, i am just so tired. will blog more later lah...
