SITEX is over!

ho ho ho ho ho!!!!! i've gone missing for abt 1 week, and am back to my fav activity - blogging! what was i busy with? let me recap:

Its SITEX and again, am there to set up and oversee the logistics work for Bro. After working with them for a few shows, its nice to work with them again for SITEX. this is the 1st time we are working together for an IT-related exhibitions. Lotsa things to learn and manage.

1st day of SITEX was fairly well. Sold lotsa machines and it was fun hanging ard and understanding the sales mechanics used and tactics adopted in a fast pace show. Everything turned out well, minus the fact that the 4 temp staff were "CMI" (cannot make it). Now, just a piece of advice for those younger folks who may be reading this entry," Being young is no excuse for having improper behaviour esp when you are cladded with a client's uniform. If you cant behave, dun expect pple to be blind and oblivious to your conduct.". This may sound harsh, but it is true especially in the working society.

Have promised to help Sel out for her Singapore ArchiFest 07 event. I turned up at the event with panda eyes as i had too little sleep the night before. My job for that day? Stage Manager. Its the 2nd time that i m doing stage managing works. But the morning was horrifying for me. I was supposed to watch out and settle technical hiccups and doing things like meddling with diff lappies and projector works. Shant elaborate cos i prob think you will not be able to understand my poorly constructed sentences (when IT terms are involved). It was terrible cos i always rely on hb when it comes to IT stuff. To handle it on my own and up on the stage was a little terrifying for me. Well, the 2nd half of the day, i 've got Shiming to help me and that greatly reduced the fear and inconvenienct.

Was supposed to be in msia but trip was cancelled. so, after son's zoophonics class, we proceeded to SITEX again. Lucky i was there. Wkends during IT Shows are pure fanatic lor. Orders come in, consumers waiting, redemption side busy etc...

After the show, hb n me went to Yishun Dam to meet some AW folks. So nice to hang ard, and TCSS, and enjoy the night breeze. We hung ard till 12.30am then proceeded to recce Bottle Tree Park for our Annual D&D venue. Then was at Sembawang area for Nasi Lemal.. Reached home at 2am blardy shagged!

Last day of SITEX. Heng all went well... Had a goofygood time laughing at them match-making Rach and ZW. Kekeke, aiya, for me, i will day, let them develop naturally if there's a chance. Why make it so embarrassing for them? Kekekee

After dismantling, which is abt 11pm, Hb n I left for East Coast Park to celebrate whatever hours left of our 7th wedding anniversary. Shit, after being so busy, this is the fist day i have forgotten abt our anniversary(rom)... How culd i??? but i guess we can still make up for it this 29th Dec, our 6th anniversary (customary)... afterall, i always say, December is my romance month!! kekeke

Me, sick, recuperating at home.... think i caught the virus from one of the temp staff during SITEX. Ended up at home whole day. Heng got Bestie to accompany me online. kekeke, the wonders of MSN. We were online for at least 2 hrs. What a fruitful 3 hours, cos he imparted me with the necessary skills to ace in warbook. Wa lau, fancy me calling myself a warbk freak... so many important fundamental infos i also dunno. Lucky for me to have such a gd pal!!!!

Ok, its time to deploy once again. Am gonna build my elites and forts to ward off those irritants!!! Wish me luck!
