after a 2hrs msn session with a close fren, i am nothing, but utterly lost for words. was supposed to be a happy pregnancy, but turns out that there are some complications. and thou this dear old fren of mine, seems to be still pretty optimistic, and can even provide lamest jokes thru'out the session, i cant help but still feel upset for him.
baby girl was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome. Did a quick check, and realise TS (short for Turner Syndrome) happens in 1 out of every 2500 female babies. Its a chromosomes disorder, whereby most female babies are borned with two X chromosomes. but girls with one X chromosome, or some missing parts of the chromosomes, are diagnosed as having TS.
told close fren, that he has my utmost support, no matter what decision he and wife make. What got me heartached, was when i told him to "be there for her, totally", he questioned me "who's gonna be there for me, totally?" Dammit! My heart hurts for him. I know he must be in a terrible position now, to play the role of a good and strong husband, yet unable to open up to anyone he trusts, about the ordeal he's going thru.
"life is funny", i quote his words. but thats life indeed.
I've researched on a few sites, and found some interesting sites to read thru. Hopefully it helps those who need the information.
