But, having slept at almost 8.30pm today, I am now wide-eyed, at a freaking 3:40am! So better update my bountiful week. Its eventful, compared to the previous few weeks.
29th Nov (Sat)
Its Sat, and I had quite enough of staying in. I mean, I am not sick. But at the rate that I am staying in, its quite enough to make my CPU (Brain) cofused, and may actually declare a system (Body) breakdown lor. Since hb complained that the LV Damier Graphite Multiple Wallet that I got for his bday on 1st Nov, had "chipped", we decided to go get an exchange. Yes, u heard me right! What the hell is that? LV's leather chipped, in less than one month's usage??
At DFS LV Boutique, the sales associate refused to exchange, saying that we had used it. Even when we were patiently explaining to her that it was less than one mth's light usage. Hb is more gentle than me lor. It was obvious that it was not a scratch, not negligence but design fault, and the SA gotta keep refusing responsibilities. I got rather pissed and hb too. Till Hb said, downright," If u are telling me its like dat, wear and tear, even thou I am now telling you its less than 1 mth, that means we are paying so much for a quality that sucks, right?" FYI, this is hb's most expensive wallet till date, S$615. Ya, much lesser than my wallet, but still . . . ?
I din wanna speak to this SA anymore, and asked to speak to the Store Manager. He was out for dinner, and I told her that we will be going for family dinner, and that to get her Manager to call us. We would want an explanation as well as an exchange. She finally called, when i brought my mum for testin of clothings for Bro's wedding. Told her that we will only go over after our dinner. We are not that cheapskate trying to pull a fast one lor.
After dinner at Crystal Jade (Shaw Towers), we walked over to DFS. That rude SA left for home! Talk about Service??? Yes, she did inform me thou that she will be leaving work soon. But, if you need to pacify a customer, ezpecially someone who is upset, dun u need to stay on? Anyway, spoke to another SA, and this one is certainly much sweeter! Offered a one-to-one exchange. But Hb aint gonna get another DG Multiple lor. Instead, we rather we topped up another $125 more, to get another design. I did tell the SA to indicate on the receipt that we had done an exhange already, and will not be expecting to do another one. I am fair and square, and knows how to abide by the STRICTLY ONE EXCHANGE ONLY policy. Well, a pleasant surprise awaited. When I requested for a catalogue to browse thru, (in the store), I was offered instead, the catalogue to bring home!! Hahaha, I joked that tis catalogue is indeed priceless!!!

1 Dec (Mon)
Brought son to Ikea Tampines for breakfast (at 11plus?? Sigh). Had wanted to try and do a leisurely walk. Gynae called and asked about my well-being. Told her i was out on Sat for a mere 4hrs, and leaked quite a bit. She issued a "decree" and wanted me to go see her within the next 1 hr. Sigh . . . no choice, had to deprive Son's playtime, to set off to TMC straight. No bad news from Gynae after check up. AFI was at 10.9. Went down a little compared to previous, but she was not worried, as she was confident that the scan still showed deep pockets of water. Was assured that AFI level fluctuates anyway. Was told to see her 2 weeks later. Rushed home immediately, cos my temps, Angie and Mel, was supposed to come over to pass me some assignments as well as visit me. They were sweet, brought along ice creams!! Hahahaha
3 Dec (Wed)
Celebrated my 8th Wedding Anniversary (ROM) - 02 Dec 2000, one day belated. Not obedient lah. Went out at 12plus. Stepped into my office, after like donkey years, and was visibly glad that everything is functioning as per normal. Left for Orchard for my Mani and Pedi, pick up some stuffs from client (darn! they used to see me twice every week.. . . but now..). By 4.30pm, all my errands were settled, and we decided to have The Magic of ChongQing HotPot for our celebrations. So hb drove us to Tanglin Shopping Centre. I must have mentioned umpteen times in my previous entry that I am a hot pot gal! Gimme Hot Pot anytime!!! We were the 1st customers, waiitng for them to start operating, and walked out 2hrs later, with huge satisfaction and almost $75. I admit i was pigging out, having been left out of good food for so long!
4 Dec (Thurs)
Was a good "patient", to stay in, since I was out for almost one day. Stayed home, watched my fav SCV Channel 69, Asian Food Channel, and was constantly happy, for Juzzy msn-ed me in the morning, saying she got me the LV Galliera PM! I am happy like a bird!!!! It cost S$1930 if i were to get in Sin, but Dear Juzzy, will help me to bring back from London this Jan, at S$1600... hohoho. . . after conversion from GBP$ to S$ of cos! Thats a decent savings of $300!!!!!

Son stayed in the house with me, and it certainly did me good, since it means i have some form of company. But to avoid over straining, i "chased" him upstairs to watch his Cartoon Network, while i rest downstairs in the living room. My trial confinement food from Newbaby arrived at 11.30am, promptly. I like the service. All packed in nice microwavable tupperwares, and all wares stored in a transparent Toyogo box for easy transportation. This trial lunch is $30. I had braised dark pork ribs, kailan veggies, Liver Soup with Lily Bulbs, steamed rice and one bottle of Red Date Tea. I guess I will be sticking to this confinement food caterer. Anyway, my TMC's SBI (Subsequent Borned Incentives) Card will entitle me to a further 20% less from the price of $1388.
Evening time, hb came home and we drove out to SingExpo, to visit the Sports Exhibition. Lame lah, nothing much to see. Ended up, we spent more time at the John Little's Mega Sale. Got a baby cot with free mattress and bedding sets at $169, and other clothings for Daryl and Gwen, and hehehe, i got 2 Charles and Keith shoes + 1 Dinner bag, at less than S$60! Total damage as we walked out of the expo was $350.
6 Dec (Sat)
My fav day of the week. Hb works every Sunday, and hence Sat is a family day. We went Hougang Point NTUC and bought lotsa food. Wanted to do a western cuisine, having been so attentive, watching AFC everyday. Bert n gang wanted to come visit me (sweet), and hence we bought extra food, to do a massive cook-out. First time fully utilising my oven (roast/bake/sautee). We had roasted chicken leg, mushroom stew, peppery pork chop, sausages, cheesey potato chunks and poached veggies. I tell u, this dinner is fantastic!!!! Best of all, i only did the marinate and surprise surprise, i waS chased out of the kitchen. The men (Bert, Nik and Hb) whipped up a storm in the kitchen! Us, the wives, were just chatting, watching AFC (as usual), keepin a look out for Daryl and Baby Shyuen. Really damn tai tais lor...
We are blessed with hubbies who can cook (Bert n Nik), thorough housework (hb - eh, except cooking, he does all the rest), technically inclined (hb is the TECH expert!), work (Bert-High Flyer in a media company; Nik-successful Sales Engineer; Hb-owns our little humble business), and being Daddies (to Daryl and Shyuen.
Well, i guess that right!! I really took 1 hr to blog lor. Its 5:08am now, and i am still feeling awake, and yes, HUNGRY!!!!!
